Pre-cursive (separate letter) fonts
These fonts have many sets of alternative letters built into each font which are important as they provide
a selection of different letterforms for teachers to use ļ¬tting their chosen reading and handwriting policy.
In OpenType font terminology these alternatives are called 'Stylistic Sets' and are available when used
with an OpenType compatible application. Access to the 'Stylistic Sets' feature may differ, depending
on the application you use. If your application used is not OpenType compatible, only the Default letters
will be available. All pre-cursive fonts have the same alternative letters.
